Manolo Zarabia
Co-founder of Sniffing Quest
I’ve had a lifelong love for dogs. Growing up, my father ran a mechanic’s shop next to our home, where a loyal guard dog was always by his side.
I spent countless hours playing with him and discovering the joy and companionship that dogs bring.
When I later moved to London, I didn’t initially expect my career to involve working with animals. However, while searching for a more fulfilling and balanced role, I joined a dog day care — and immediately knew I had found my calling. I loved training, caring for, and walking the dogs, and quickly realised this was something I wanted to dedicate myself to completely.
That passion led my partner and me to co-found Sniffing Quest. Today, I bring over 7 years of hands-on experience, patience, and genuine care, ensuring every dog feels happy, safe, and loved while in our care.
Marta Mika
Co-founder of Sniffing Quest
My passion for dogs began before I could even walk. Before I was born, my mother brought home a young German Shepherd — a loyal and protective companion who quickly became part of the family. When I arrived a few months later, she became my first guardian, faithfully watching over me from the moment I came home.
My mother often shared stories of how she would place my buggy outside the window, while our German Shepherd rested nearby, keeping a careful watch. No one could approach without a protective growl warning them to stay back. From those early moments, I developed a lifelong respect and admiration for dogs — for their loyalty, instinct, and unconditional love.
At Sniffing Quest we go beyond basic day care. Built on trust, compassion, and genuine love — every dog that walks through our doors is treated as part of our extended family. Together with our team of trained dog handlers, We’ve made it our mission to provide exceptional care tailored to each dog’s unique personality and needs.

“We recently left London for the countryside, but honestly the worst part of leaving was knowing my pups had to leave Manolo and Marta behind. They were like family for us and I knew my dogs were in heaven when they went to Sniffing Quest. I cannot recommend them enough for knowing your doggies will be safe and come home happy and exhausted. Miss you guys so much M + M!
Love,
Albert, Olive and the humans”

“Sniffing Quest is the best place for my dog Jonno. They put so much care and love into the dogs and make so much fun for them.
Jonno is always super excited to go to their day care and play with other dogs. He always comes back home with a jolly smile and is knackered out.
The best place for your beloved pet!”

“The guys at Sniffing Quest have got to be some of the most down to earth people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. When our Cobie started attending a year ago, he had never been to a dog Walker before, never mind a day care! He was nervous of people and some dogs and I was more nervous as to how he’d react. But they turned up on day one and sat on my living room floor trying to build a relationship with him before they took him, asking more questions about what he liked and giving a nervous dog mama a lot of reassurance. The time, care and patience I saw them display instantly put my mind at rest. One year later, Cobie wags his tail and waits at the door when you say the word daycare and throws himself out the door when they arrive and doesn’t want to come back in upon drop off! His confidence with people and dogs has improved majorly which has made a massive difference to our daily life and the regular photo updates we receive show us all the fun he gets up to during the day! The flexibility of booking makes life easier for a house with a funny working schedule and they will always try to adapt pick up/drop off timings to fit you when life throws a curveball.
One year later I couldn’t imagine leaving my boy with anyone else, the love, care and the relationships provided through sniffing quest are completely unmatched.”

“A true sign our dog loves her days in doggy daycare is how she runs excitedly to the door to greet Manolo when he collects her, and how content/tired she is after her days out. We also love seeing the videos of her playing with the other dogs and on the agility equipment.”

“I can’t be any happier with Manolo and Marta and they care they show Bodhi, and he’s been going to Sniffing Quest since their first day of business. They truly care about his wellbeing and make sure he’s happy and well whenever he’s in their care.
The fact they also ensure the dogs get a long off lead walk for true stimulation and exercise is true value for money. Dogs need this just as much as socialisation and company and they absolutely understand this.
There are very few people I trust my dog to and Manolo and Marta are absolutely two of them.
Thanks so much you guys for everything you do xx”

"Sniffing Quest have been taking care of our dog since she was a puppy and we could not be happier! She gets so excited when she gets collected as she knows she will have a great time, and we know she's in the best possible hands, which gives us complete peace of mind when we have to be out for the day. Their pick-up in the morning and drop-off in the afternoon works great when we have to leave early. We highly recommend them to any dog owner!"

“When Crumble stays with Sniffing Quest we know she’s in safe hands. The team is caring and attentive to her needs and they take the dogs on fun day trips.
Whenever we’re away it’s a highlight of our holidays receiving videos of her adventures, she always looks so happy and excited. We’re very satisfied with the service.”
